2025 Holiday Art Competition
Calling all young artists across Vance County! The FIRST Annual Kernel Craze Holiday Art Challenge officially launches September 2nd, 2025! This exciting art competition invites youth, K-12, to design the next limited edition art that will grace our holiday popcorn buckets! Final day of submissions will be October 16, 2025. Art will be showcased, judged and winners announced Thursday, October 23, 2025.
The 2025 Holiday Art Challenge invites students from across Vance County to showcase their creativity, celebrate the spirit of the winter holidays, and highlight the vibrance of Henderson, NC - all while incorporating the energy of Kernel Craze.
It's a fun, and creative way to celebrate our community - and get your art seen by thousands!
Selected submissions will be featured in Kernel Craze promotions, products, and public displays throughout the holiday season.

📐 Entry Requirements
1. Eligibility
Open to students in grades K–12.
Participants must reside in Henderson or Vance County, North Carolina.
2. Submission Format
Artwork must fit on an 11” x 17” document (landscape orientation).
Submissions must be in color (digital or traditional media accepted).
Artwork must be submitted digitally or physically:
Digital Submissions: Uploaded via the Kernel Craze website (https://www.kernelcraze.com)
Physical Submissions: Delivered to your school’s main office or designated teacher/administrator
3. Theme & Content
Artwork must reflect winter holiday themes
Must incorporate Henderson, North Carolina in concept or visuals
Must feature or nod to Kernel Craze (branding, product, or concept)
Submissions must not include:
Inappropriate, lewd, or vulgar content
Hate speech, discriminatory imagery, or offensive language
Explicit or harsh themes inappropriate for general audiences

Registration Opens: Midnight September 2, 2025
Registration Closes: 5 PM October 1, 2025
Submission Deadline: Midnight October 16, 2025
Winners Announced: Holiday Art Showcase October 23, 2025

By registering for the 2025 Holiday Art Challenge and submitting your artwork, participants and their legal guardians agree to the following terms:
• Ownership & Usage: All accepted submissions become the property of Kernel Craze.
• Rights: Kernel Craze reserves the right to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute accepted artwork for promotional, commercial, or display purposes without further notice or compensation.
• Attribution: Artists may be credited where appropriate, but such credit is not guaranteed in all usages.
